NCP chief Sharad Pawar asks party to expand base among women

Mumbai: Union Agriculture Minister and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar today asked his party to expand its base among women, involve them in decision-making and create a new leadership.

Addressing the newly-elected taluka and district unit presidents of NCP, Pawar said the women’s wing of the party needs to be strengthened.he further added, “If women join us in large numbers, we will get at least two more voters from each of their families.”
